On Wednesday Bullion traded weak as hopes for a vaccine against coronavirus and easing US-China trade tensions weighed on prices. Gold futures at Multi Commodity Exchange for October pared morning gains and was at Rs 50,984 per 10 gram in early afternoon trade. It opened at Rs 51,165 and touched a high of Rs 51,184.
Domestic gold and silver futures fell on Wednesday, in line with global cues, but analysts were divided about the outlook for the yellow metal. MCX October gold opened at Rs 53,450 per 10 gm as compared to Tuesday’s closing of Rs 53,571 per 10 gm.
