Money Market Guru — According to the World Steel Association (WSA) statistics published in 2016, Japans crude steel production totaled 104.77 million tons and India was 95.62 million tons; in 2015, Japans steel production totaled 105.13 million tons and India was 89.03 million tons, respectively.

In nearly two years, Japans daily crude steel production was around 286000~288000 tons; while Indias daily steel production was about 244,000~261,000 tons.
